R Shiny Data Dashboard Example [LINK] – realtime sensor data from YFYH proposed sites
Proposed sites use different instruments, data formats, and units. The goal of this dashboard is to aggregate and harmonize data from these different sources into a one-stop data dashboard. In this prototype, an automated workflow ingests data hourly from all sites to refresh the dashboard. The data experience can be customized with site and variable selection, and by using zoom and pan to explore the timeseries.

The Purple Air instruments are being considered for YFYH deployment. Once deployed, these data can be accessed via API for integration into custom dashboards and maps. The example below shows the EPA AQI (left) and particulates (right) across the US and CA YFYH gradients.

Data from this site are available for use by non-profits (with permission). The site provides access to digital sensor values and mapped values. Both are accessible via API. The image below shows a custom display for the YFYH gradients using the map tile API (and token) and leaflet. Variables mapped are air quality index (left), NO2 (center) and Ozone (right).
